Call for Papers
International Management Review (IMR) is an international, peer-reviewed journal published biannually in March and September.
IMR welcomes the submission of original, unpublished manuscripts that make significant theoretical or practical contributions to the field of management. The journal encourages innovative ideas, interdisciplinary research, and new perspectives on existing theories and practices.
Manuscripts are accepted throughout the year.
Submission Deadlines
- Spring Issue (March): December 31 of the previous year
- Fall Issue (September): March 31 of the current year
Access Policy
International Management Review (IMR) provides free online access to all published articles through the American Scholars Press website.
Readers may read, download, print, search, and link to the full text of published articles for personal, educational, and non-commercial research purposes without charge.
IMR is a subscription-supported journal and is not an Open Access journal. Copyright and reuse of published content are governed by the journal's Copyright and Licensing Policy.

Journal Funding and Revenue Sources
International Management Review (IMR) is financially supported through a combination of:
- Publisher support
- Subscription revenue
- Modest article processing or publication fees (where applicable)
- Institutional or organizational support
- Other legitimate publishing-related revenue sources
Editorial decisions are made independently of the journal's financial considerations. Revenue sources do not influence editorial evaluation, peer review, or publication decisions.
Copyright and Licensing Policy
Copyright Ownership
Authors retain the copyright to their original scholarly work published in International Management Review (IMR).
Upon acceptance, the corresponding author, on behalf of all co-authors, signs the journal's Exclusive License to Publish Agreement, granting the publisher the exclusive right to publish, distribute, archive, reproduce, and promote the article worldwide in all media and formats.
This agreement enables the publisher to protect the integrity of the scholarly record while allowing authors to retain ownership of their intellectual property.
Publisher's Rights
Under the Exclusive License to Publish Agreement, the publisher has the exclusive right to:
- Publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, and preserve the article.
- Assign Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs).
- Register article metadata with Crossref and other indexing services.
- Include published articles in journal platforms, online databases, digital archives, and future editions.
- Authorize indexing and abstracting services to index article metadata and abstracts.
- Protect the published work against copyright infringement and unauthorized use.
Authors' Rights
Authors retain the right to:
- Reuse all or part of their published work in books, dissertations, theses, and future scholarly publications authored by them.
- Share the published article with colleagues for personal scholarly use.
- Present the work at conferences, seminars, and academic meetings.
- Use the article in classroom teaching and educational activities.
- Deposit the accepted manuscript or published version in an institutional repository or personal academic website, provided proper citation to the original publication is included and any applicable embargo policy is observed.
Republication of the article in another journal or commercial publication requires prior written permission from the publisher.
Author Warranties
By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that:
- The manuscript is original.
- The work has not been published previously except as properly disclosed.
- The manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere.
- All authors have approved the submission.
- The manuscript does not infringe any copyright or intellectual property rights.
- Necessary permissions have been obtained for all copyrighted material included in the manuscript.
Third-Party Copyrighted Material
Authors are responsible for obtaining written permission to reproduce or adapt copyrighted material, including figures, tables, photographs, illustrations, maps, questionnaires, and substantial excerpts from previously published works.
Appropriate acknowledgments and documentation of permissions must accompany the manuscript.
Permissions and Reuse
Requests to reproduce, translate, distribute, or otherwise reuse material published in IMR beyond uses permitted by applicable copyright law should be submitted to the Publisher for written permission.
Educational, research, and other non-commercial uses that comply with copyright law and include appropriate acknowledgment of the original publication are generally permitted.
Policy Updates
The Publisher reserves the right to revise this policy to reflect changes in publishing standards, legal requirements, or journal policies. The current version will always be available on the journal's website.
